Amanda Elizabeth Hibbert and Patrick Willis Ruland were united in holy matrimony on Saturday, May 22, 2010 at Frazer Memorial United Methodist Church. The Reverend John Schmidt officiated the six o’clock ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Allen Hibbert, Jr., Montgomery. She is the granddaughter of Ms. Edith Ciarletta and the late Mr. Paul Daniel Ciarletta Sr., and of Mr. and Mrs. John Sanders and the late Mr. William Allen Hibbert, Sr., all of Montgomery.
The groom is the son of Ms. Nita McCaskey Ruland, Mobile and Mr. Kevin Lee Ruland, Spanish Fort. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Ruland and the late Ms. Kathleen McCaskey, all of Mobile.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride’s cousin, Laura Feld, Birmingham, served as Matron of Honor. Bridesmaids were Rachel Ciarletta, cousin of the bride, Madison, Mississippi, Kristen Edwards, Opelika, Anna Golson Hartzog and Katie Nelson, Birmingham, Stacie McLendon, Montgomery, Lauren Rucker, Athens, Georgia, Kristen Todd, Huntsville and Kaitlyn Wellons, Atlanta.
Ryan Ruland, Mobile, served his brother as Best Man. Groomsmen were Jonathan Hibbert, brother of the bride, Montgomery, Wes Donald, Auburn, Justin McDonald, Mobile and Justin Mingus, Newark, Delaware.
Maggie Morris and Kate Morris, served as flower girls. Alison Baker read scripture. Hannah Lonza served as program attendant. Music was provided by Wilburn Ingram, and the Exaltation singers of Frazer, directed and accompanied by Wayne Sigler.
A reception followed the ceremony at Alley Station in downtown Montgomery. Guests were entertained with music by D’Zyre.
After honeymooning in Nassau, Bahamas, the couple resides in Mobile.
